Are you an administrator at a public, private, or parochial school in Philadelphia? Circle Compost can provide an opportunity for your teachers to teach their students about composting and save some organic food scraps from landfills!
The sooner our young children and teenagers can learn that food scraps are not trash – they are nutrient rich raw material for making compost needed by farmers and gardeners everywhere – the better for their future and the future of our planet.
Composting with us is something your staff and the parents of your students can feel good about – they’re part of a program that keeps food waste out of landfills and helps Philadelphia’s urban farmers and gardeners get locally made compost they need to grow healthy crops and plants. And our program is inexpensive to start on a manageable scale.
If you’re being charged overage fees by a company you pay for trash pickup, our food waste pickup services may reduce the amount of trash you create by enough volume to eliminate those additional charges.
The map on this page shows our current service area, so if you are located within or in close proximity, we should be able to work with you.
If you have any questions about our services or want to get started, please get in touch! Let’s feed soil, not landfills.
